NEAT AND TIDY WORKSHOPS ARE FOR THE BORING

It’s hard to believe that I'm writing my first post!! Just imagine how excited I am that I have finally started my blog, with which I hope to share many tips and advice, as well as free tutorials on the various crafts I've learned and will be learning over time, with your help.

At long last I have my own working space to do my projects, as up until now I've been doing ... (which many of us have to do)…is collecting all the necessary bits and pieces from the various places where they’ve been stored and setting up my "workshop" on the dining room table.

Having to do this wasn’t too bad until someone came home and asked, “what's for dinner”? which then meant that I had to collect it up, and at least in my case ... shove it all into a corner of the room until I could return to it. It’s really great that now I can leave everything as is and just close the door to return at anytime!!

Usually my room is pretty well organised until I get the creating/making/drawing itches and zasss .... it then looks like a whirlwind has been through it!! Pieces of cut out paper on the floor ... brushes, cutters, scissors, my metal rulers, acrylics, saucers (for mixing paint), pots of water, the mod podge etc etc. all over the table ... until I have less and less working space!!

That’s usually is about the time my partner arrives home, pops his head around the corner, doesn’t say anything about the mess but I know he’s thinking I’m a bit crazy!! I guess that's when I notice state everything is in and that both my back and neck ache.

So I’ll give myself a good stretch, put the kettle on for a cup of tea (that’s the English side of me) and a catch up about the day.

Well, I don’t want to go on too much in my first post so I'll end it with a ... thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you soon !!
